Unanimous Support For Harborough Mum’s Campaign

Council bosses have backed a campaign being spearheaded by the Mum of a Market Harborough disabled girl.
It’s calling on the government to provide funding so school transport for youngsters with special education needs, aged 16 to 18 can continue.

The ‘Close The Loop’ campaign was launched by Kyra Williams following the decision by Leicestershire County Council to take away specialist taxis and minibuses from next year, because of funding pressures.
Kyra’s teenage daughter Molly will be one of those affected.
A motion of support was unanimously backed by the Full Council yesterday.
