Trees are being cut down in part of Market Harborough town centre because they are diseased or potentially dangerous.
Work is taking place on land adjacent to the Market Hall car park on Northampton Road, which is owned by Harborough District Council.

A survey undertaken last year revealed 12 trees needed to be felled.
The site, which has a mobile phone mast on it, has previously been identified for a coach park and potential location for a new community garden.
