Travellers Leave Market Harborough Car Park

A group of travellers have left a car park in Market Harborough town centre after setting up an unauthorised camp.
About ten caravans pitched up on the Commons Car Park on Tuesday evening and were yesterday served with a notice by Leicestershire Police to leave by noon today.
They moved off the car park last night.
A Harborough District Council spokesperson said: “The Travellers left the Commons Car Park in Market Harborough yesterday (Wednesday) evening. A small number of domestic waste sacks have been removed from the site.”
Travellers have now left the Commons Car Park
