Travellers Handed Eviction Notice

An eviction notice has been served on travellers illegally camped on land near a new housing estate in Market Harborough.
The eviction notice was served this afternoon.

The group has been ordered to leave the site off Wellington Place on the Airfield Farm development by 8am tomorrow, after moving onto the private land a week ago, or face being evicted.
High Court Bailiffs served the notice this afternoon under the instruction of the consortium who own the land.
