Train Services Resume After Bridge Damage
Written by HFM News on 6th October 2022
Train services from Market Harborough have resumed after being suspended this morning when a bridge was damaged.
Network Rail say the footbridge near Braybrooke was damaged during planned work on the railway in the area overnight.
A safety inspection of the structure has deemed it safe for trains to operate again, although there are residual delays to East Midlands Railway services, which are already reduced today due to strike action.
