Three Community Groups Celebrate Cash Windfall

Three community projects are celebrating a cash windfall totaling nearly £100,000.

Harborough Council has handed out funding through its section 106 scheme – which is money from housing developers to benefit the areas where they’ve built.

Market Harborough Baptist Church has been handed £45,000 to upgrade its community hall to support the increase in demand for it, Lutterworth Football Club £50,000 towards its new clubhouse, and Fleckney Parish Council just over £2,000 for park improvements.
