Statue of Stag stolen from Horninghold Hall

Thieves have stolen a seven foot tall bronze statue of a stag from Horninghold Hall.
It’s thought it would have taken at least four people to carry away the life-size statue and load it onto a vehicle, as it’s extremely heavy.
The theft happened sometime late last night or during the early hours of today from the front garden of the hall on Hallaton Road.
Its owner says the statue is of extreme sentimental value and was made to order, so is completely unique.
Anyone with information or who may be offered it for sale is urged to call Harborough Police on 101.
