Two teenagers have appeared in court accused of stabbing a man in Market Harborough.

Both are charged with Grievous Bodily Harm with intent, after a 21-year-old man suffered stab wounds in Britannia Walk on June 12th last year.

Tyler Groom, 19, of Harrowden Lane, Finedon, Northamptonshire and a boy aged 16, who can’t be named for legal reasons, appeared before Loughborough Magistrates’ yesterday.

No pleas were entered and the pair were released on conditional bail to appear at Leicester Crown Court next month.

The victim was taken to hospital by air ambulance, after being found collapsed near the entrance to Sainsbury’s supermarket.

He was released a few days later after medical treatment.
