Over 50 sunflowers were planted in Market Harborough over the Bank Holiday Weekend in support of the Compassionate Town campaign.
Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Market Harborough planted them in an allotment field off Northampton Road, opposite Protheroes garage.
Sunflowers are the recognised emblem of the Compassionate Town campaign, which was launched earlier this year by the Loros Hospice.
