Striking Artwork Revealed On Utility Cabinets

Three new pieces of striking street art have been unveiled in Market Harborough – on neglected utility cabinets.

Students from Welland Park Academy put forward the design ideas, before a judging panel decided which ones should be used.

Virgin Media allowed the use of their cabinets in Abbey Street, Farndon Road and Walcot Road, which were previously tatty with graffiti on.

The ‘Clean-up, Colour-up’ project was led by Andrew Reeves of South Leicestershire Litter Wombles and supported by Creative Harborough, Harborough District Council, Market Harborough and The Bowdens Charity and The Rotary Club of Market Harborough.
