‘Strictly Ukuleles’ To Make Busking Debut

The Harborough Welland U3A’s ‘Strictly Ukuleles’ group will be performing in Market Harborough town centre tomorrow.

The musicians will be staging their first-ever busking event under the Old Grammar School between 11.15am and 1pm.

The day will also be used to promote the upcoming national U3A week, which highlights the numerous activities affiliated to the movement, which provides learning and leisure activities for retired and semi-retired people.

Local HWU3A interest groups include: Crafting [Drawing, Painting, Photography], Music/Dance [Choir, Ukes, handbells, Country Dancing] , Outdoor [Cycling, Walking], History Groups [Art, Family] & Games [Badminton, Table Tennis, Bridge].
