Southern Estate Hit By Water Problems

Work is underway to repair a burst main that left many people on Market Harborough’s Southern Estate with no water or extremely low pressure this morning.

Severn Trent Water says its teams are working hard to fix the leak on Ireton Road, so that all supplies can be restored to normal.

A spokesman told Hfm: “We’re really sorry to anyone who’s water supply was affected this morning as we’ve been working to fix a burst pipe on Ireton Road.

“Everyone should have their water back as usual, and we’ll be working to complete the repairs and get everything else back to normal as quickly as possible. Again, we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
