South Leicestershire Litter Wombles Celebrate 4th Birthday

The South Leicestershire Little Wombles have celebrated their fourth birthday.
The dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to clean up the area, carrying out regular litter picks.
They have collected over 114,000 bags of rubbish since they started counting them in 2020 – if placed next to each other they would stretch over 20 miles.
Simon Ingram-Hawkes from Market Harborough is a member of the group and spoke to HFM’s Dave Smith about why he got involved and the work they do:
