Signs Erected As Sheep Attacks Continue

Signs asking people to report suspicious activity following incidents of illegal sheep butchery have been given to farmers and landowners to put up on their land.

A number of sheep have been killed in fields, including in Clipston, Kelmarsh and Swinford over the past few weeks and on Sunday night nine were killed in a field off the A5 near Lutterworth.

Northants Police have produced the signs after launching an operation in a bid to catch those responsible.

A man arrested last week remains under investigation.
