Sheep Killed & Injured On B6047

A number of sheep were killed after being struck by a car on the B6047 late last night.

The animals had got out of a field onto the carriageway near Billesdon.

Police were called just before 11pm and requested a vet attend the scene, where some of the injured animals had to be put down.

The car driver was left shaken but not injured.
