Serial Rapist Attacked Woman Near Dingley

A convicted serial rapist has had time added to his jail term for four further sex attacks including one on a woman in a remote wood near Dingley ten years ago.

Jason Lawrance wrapped a belt around her neck during the assault an area known as Bluebell Woods in February 2009 after meeting her on dating site match dot com.

The victim came forward to Police following the publicity after the he was jailed for other attacks.

The 54-year-old had an extra two and a half years added to his life sentence handed down in 2016 at Derby Crown Court yesterday, meaning he’ll serve 15 years.
