A search has been launched for an Academy Trust to run a new primary school in Market Harborough.
The 210-place school is set to open next September on the Airfield Farm estate, subject to planning permission being granted.
Leicestershire County Council is inviting expressions of interest from Academy providers until the end of next month.

The authority will build the school using over £3m of housing developer money and say it will initially open to reception year children.
A document for prospective providers reads: “The establishment of the new primary school will help deliver the county council’s strategic plans for the provision of school places and ensure there is access to good quality schools within the Market Harborough area, and in particular to meet the demand arising from new housing.
“The school will be constructed by contractors appointed by Leicestershire County Council, and subsequently leased to the successful Academy Trust.”
