School’s Solar Plan Moves Forward

Robert Smyth Academy in Market Harborough is pushing ahead with plans to install hundreds of solar panels.
The green energy project would see 420 panels placed on the top of some buildings at the school site on Burnmill Road.
The proposal is part of wider plans to make the school site more energy-efficient and a planning application for the installations has been submitted to Harborough District Council.
