School Term Times In Leics To Stay The Same
Written by HFM News on 23rd September 2021
It has been confirmed school terms in Leicestershire are to stay in their traditional pattern for at least the next five years.
The County Council has agreed to keep things as they are after a consultation with parents revealed a desire to stick with current arrangements, meaning earlier holidays than elsewhere in the country.
Nearly 12,500 people responded to the consultation, with 69% wanting to keep the current pattern of the ‘July fortnight’, an earlier October half term and longer autumn term.
