Safety Concerns Over Broken Streetlights

Safety concerns are being expressed by pedestrians who use a section of the Millennium Mile in Market Harborough because streetlights are not working.

A section of the Millennium Mile is affected
The well-used path between Rockingham Road, opposite the railway station, and the back of the Lidl supermarket is affected, and very dark as a result.
Because the area has never been ‘adopted’ by any Council, the responsibility of fixing the lights lies with the private landowner.
Harborough Council says it is trying to make contact with them to make them aware of the situation.
