During his eight years in charge, the school says he has overseen a period of sustained development, with a strong focus on culture, community and high expectations for students.

Mr Cleary said it had been “the privilege of my professional life” to lead the school and described moving to take on the role as “one of the very best decisions” he could have made.

Current Associate Principal Kate Nicholson will succeed him as Principal. She said she was “proud and delighted” to take on the role and promised to build on the strong foundations already in place.
