Two men arrested after an armed robbery in Market Harborough will face no further Police action.
The pair had been on bail after being questioned about the incident at the Spar Shop on Coventry Road in December, during which staff were threatened with knives by robbers who stole cigarettes.
Police say the Crown Prosecution Service ruled there was insufficient evidence to bring any charges against the men, aged 38 and 39.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told Hfm: “Two men arrested and bailed in connection with a robbery at the Spar shop in Coventry Road, Market Harborough, on 13 December last year, have been released no further action.
“Enquiries remain ongoing into the incident and anyone who can assist with the investigation is asked to contact 101, quoting crime number 21*725172.
