Flooding Hits Parts Of Hfm Region

A road in and out of Lubenham is impassable due to flooding.
Rushes Lane is blocked where it meets Farndon Road, by the bridge.

Drivers are urged to find alternative routes after heavy rain during storm Franklin saturated near-by fields, with water flowing onto the road.

Flooding has also affected the Rose Garden area at Welland Park in Market Harborough.

The high winds also damaged the ‘Tommy’ silhouette by the memorial on The Square, Market Harborough.
It has been removed for repair by the District Council, who say it will be returned as soon as possible.
