Repairs To Burst Water Pipe In Market Harborough Delayed

Repairs to a burst pipe on Northampton Road in Market Harborough have been delayed.

Severn Trent Water was due to deal with the issue at the Caxton Street junction overnight, but an emergency situation meant workers were needed elsewhere.

The firm has apologised for the delay in repairing the leak, which has been causing flooding in the area and says it is now scheduled to be fixed this evening and overnight.

Water supplies in the area will be temporarily switched off during the work.

Temporary traffic lights remain in place on Northampton Road, with no access into Caxton Street.
