Plans to make changes to the re-development of a derelict site in the centre of Kibworth have been turned down.
Developers, who were handed permission last year to convert the former Rose and Crown pub on Leicester Road into houses and flats, and build nine homes in the grounds, wanted to change the lay-out of the scheme.
But Harborough Council planning committee has ruled the changes would cause problems for neighbours.
The site, which has stood derelict for over four years, was most recently used an Indian Restaurant.
