Lutterworth’s recycling and household waste site is set to reopen tomorrow after more than five weeks of refurbishment work.
The site had been due to reopen earlier, but this was delayed slightly because of an unexpected electrical cable issue, which has now been resolved.

Leicestershire County Council has thanked residents for their patience during the closure, to allow repairs to the concrete base in the bottom yard.
A spokesperson warned the site is likely to be very busy over the Easter weekend, with longer queues expected and some types of waste potentially not being accepted at peak times.
Residents are being advised to delay their visit if it is not urgent, or to use quieter times later in the week.
