A charity says finding a dog in Market Harborough six months after he was stolen has given hope to others with missing pets.
Beauty’s Legacy, which helps find lost and stolen animals, passed on information to Police after a major campaign was launched to find the dachshund, named Rummy, who was stolen from a kennels in Derbyshire in February.
The dog was recovered after officers executed a search warrant at a house on Tuesday.
The charity has praised Police for responding so quickly, and says it demonstrates how important it is for people to come forward with information.
