Re-Vamp For Welland Park’s Bird Boxes

Work is underway to refurbish bird and bat boxes in Market Harborough’s Welland Park.
Around 40 were put up about six years ago, after local Scouts teamed up with Market Harborough In Bloom to make them, although some now need new roofs and better weather protection.
In Bloom volunteers are carrying out the repairs and say they are pleased to report the boxes have been well-used by birds over the years.
