Radio Play To Present Positive Message Of Friendship Across Generations

A new radio play penned by a local author and writer will air on HFM from tonight.
Henry Dawe from Uppingham wrote ‘The Autumn Of My Years’ after being inspired by two elderly people he went on to form strong friendships with.
The story aims to present a positive message of friendship across the generations, to help reduce loneliness.

The three-part series, recorded with a professional cast and director, will be played on HFM during Owen Brooks’ Movie and Musicals Show every Thursday at 7.15pm.
After the final part on November 30th. there will be a discussion between Owen, Henry, the leading actress and the director.
