Questions Over ‘Unsightly’ Pavement Repairs

Questions are being asked about ‘unsightly’ pavement repairs in Market Harborough town centre.

Tarmac has been used to replace paving slabs on a stretch of the pavement on Church Square, which lies within a conservation area.

It is believed a utility company carried out the work close to the junction with High Street and it maybe a temporary fix.

However, Harborough District Council is seeking information from Leicestershire County Council, which has responsibility for pavements.
