A Market Harborough pub will not be serving food until further notice after its kitchen suffered a major flood, damaging equipment and furnishings.

Investigations into the cause of the problem at the Sugar Loaf, on the High Street are continuing after the flood just before Christmas, which has also seen an area of the pub closed.

The kitchen & part of the pub remains shut

Owner JD Wetherspoon say they cannot say when the kitchen will re-open.

A spokesman told Hfm: “The kitchen is still closed and at present there is no re-opening date. Investigations still ongoing re the flood and work to sort that has not yet been undertaken.”
