Pub To Host Big Charity Weekend
Written by HFM News on 31st January 2025
A Market Harborough pub is to host a charity weekend in aid of the Air Ambulance.
It will take place this Saturday and Sunday at the Red Cow on the High Street and include live music, a quiz night and big raffle.
Manager Tina told HFM the support from local businesses in donating prizes for the raffle has been fantastic:

Rod Martin is supporting this weekend’s charity event at the Red Cow
The event is being supported by Rod Martin from Market Harborough who owes his life to the Air Ambulance.
He suffered severe burns and serious injuries after an explosion at his garage workshop in St Mary’s Road in 2005.
After initially being taken to Kettering General Hospital, he was airlifted to a specialist hospital in Birmingham for urgent treatment – a journey that took just over 12 minutes and saved his life.
Rod’s deep gratitude for the lifesaving work of the air ambulance has led him to become a passionate supporter of the charity and he has raised over £30,000 for the cause since.
He told HFM why support for the Air Ambulance is always needed:
