Poundland Launch Closing Down Sale

A closing down sale has launched at Poundland in Market Harborough.

The store will shut early next month after the discount retailer said it would not be renewing the lease on the premises in the Commons Car Park.

The store has been open for nearly four years and eleven members of staff are set to lose their jobs when the doors close on October 9th.

A Poundland spokesperson previously told HFM: “We’re obviously sorry we haven’t been able to agree lease terms that would allow us to keep trading.

“Whenever we have to close a store in these circumstances, we always consult with colleagues and look for alternatives.”
