Posters To Go Up In Bid To Identify Man

Written by on 2nd May 2019

Police are to put up posters in Market Harborough as they step up their efforts to identify a man who died in a fire at the Justin Park travellers’ site last year.

Officers released a picture of the man last month in the hope somebody would recognise him, but as yet no-one has come forward with information.

The fire at the site off Northampton Road late on December 8th claimed two lives – the other victim – also a man – has been identified.

Police aren’t treating it as suspicious, it’s thought the blaze started after a cooker was left on.

The posters will also be displayed in the area around the travellers’ site.

Anyone who recognises the man should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
