Police To The Rescue After Puppy Escapes

Officers came to the rescue after a puppy escaped from her home near Market Harborough Police Station.
The Pomeranian puppy named NikNak was spotted running up and down Leicester Road, including in-and-out of traffic.

PC Reece Breslin and Sgt Eaves were able to capture her after ‘a lengthy foot-chase’ and ‘some intense negotiation’.
They initially took NikNak to a vets, but spotted her owner searching as they returned to the police station.
The relived owner was then transported to the vets to be reunited with her beloved pet.
