A number of officers were sent to the scene after people reported loud music just before 9pm.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police say organisers were advised the event contravened Health Protection Regulations, in relation to Covid-19 restrictions on large gatherings, and the site was cleared by 11pm.
Harborough Council leader Phil King has condemned those who organised the event and told Hfm such large gatherings have the potential to spread Coronavirus:
No arrests were made.
Litter, including broken beer bottles, has been left strewn across the area.
