Police Recover Stolen Quad & Trailer Within Hours Of Farm Theft

Harborough Police recovered a quad bike and trailer within three hours of them being stolen from a farm in Glooston.
The thieves struck just before 3.30pm yesterday – it is believed the quad was loaded into the back of a van and the cattle trailer then attached.
A search was launched immediately by officers, who found the trailer abandoned close to the village.
The quad was located two hours later hidden in woodland in Birstall, after a tracking device helped lead officers to it.

Enquiries into the theft are continuing.
There has been a rise in trailers and machinery being stolen from farms and rural locations in recent weeks.
