Police Dog Finds Assault Suspect Hiding In Garden

A man was arrested after a Police dog found him hiding in a garden in Market Harborough last night.
Officers responded to reports he had assaulted a woman and was acting aggressively at a house on Highfield Street at 10.15pm.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “When officers attended, the man had left the scene.
“Dogs from the Special Operations Unit assisted the search and the man was found in a nearby garden.”
The 30-year-old man from Market Harborough was questioned on suspicion of assault and released on conditional bail, pending further enquiries.
