Plea To Dog Owners After Sheep Attacked In Market Harborough

Dog owners are being urged to keep pets on leads near livestock after a flock of sheep were attacked in Market Harborough.
It is understood one of the animals died from its injuries, following the incident in fields behind Willow Crescent last Friday morning.
Harriet Ranson from the National Farmers Union told HFM the message is especially important as lambing season approaches:

Harborough District Council is investigating the incident and a spokesperson said: “We have been made aware of this incident and our officers are currently undertaking an investigation and will liaise with the police as appropriate.”
