Plea After Youngster Falls On Smashed Bottle

There is a plea for people not to smash bottles after a six-year-old boy fell and cut his ankle on a piece of broken glass in Kibworth.
It happened as the youngster was walking through a small wooded area near Warwick Park.
Luckily he wasn’t badly hurt.
The boy’s Mum has released a picture of his injury to Hfm, in a bid to raise awareness of the issue.
Volunteers have been clearing smashed glass from the park in recent days, following reports of underage drinking.
