Phone Signal Problems In Market Harborough

A problem with mobile phone signal in Market Harborough is being caused by maintenance work being carried out on a mast.
The issue has been particularly affecting those on the O2 network and customers of other providers who use the same network for connections.
People are complaining about very poor signal, meaning them not being able to make or receive calls at certain times or use mobile internet.
The issue is also preventing some mobile users from using the ‘Pay By Phone’ in Harborough District Council car parks.
An O2 spokesperson told HFM the problem should be resolved by tomorrow and said: “We are carrying out upgrade works in Market Harborough to improve our network for customers.
“While we deliver this work, some customers may experience some intermittent issues with their calls, texts and data.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this causes, and we aim to complete our work very shortly.”
