Phil To Continue To Lead Opposition

Harborough Councillor Phil Knowles will continue as leader as the Opposition Liberal Democrat group on Harborough Council.
It follows last week’s election that saw the party increase their majority on the authority by two seats.
Cllr Knowles, who has served on the Council since 2010, received unanimous backing from fellow group members for him to continue in the role.
Cllr Roger Dunton was selected as the Deputy Opposition Leader.
The Conservative group, who will continue to control the Council, will select their new leader at a meeting next week.
