Over 30 Drivers Caught Speeding On A14 In Two Hours

34 drivers were caught speeding on the A14 during Police checks near Welford yesterday, with one recorded travelling at at 93mph.
Ten people were also snapped not wearing seatbelts, while travelling near junction one.
Northamptonshire Police’s Safer Roads Team , who were at the site for two hours, say there are ‘no excuses’ for the offences.
They also carried out checks on Harborough Road in East Farndon, where ten drivers were caught breaking the 30mph limit and two not wearing a seatbelt, and on the A508 at Kelmarsh, where eleven drivers were snapped travelling at over the 40mph limit.
