Opening Of New A6 Roundabout Ends Months Of Disruption For Drivers

Months of disruption for drivers using the A6 between Market Harborough and the A14 has ended with the opening of a new roundabout.

Temporary traffic lights have been use for several months while it was constructed on the Rothwell/Desborough bypass, as part of the major new ‘Rothwell North’ housing scheme, which will eventually see 350 houses built.

Once completely open, the roundabout will provide an alternative route to the A14 from the new estate, without drivers having to travel through Rothwell, and also aims to reduce traffic on Braybrooke Road and Gold Street in Desborough.
