On-Street Car Parking Charge Plan Scrapped

Plans to bring in on-street car parking charges in Market Harborough town centre have been scrapped.
The move would have seen meters installed on the High Street and surrounding roads.
Leicestershire County Council say uncertainty facing the retail sector in the current economic climate is the main reason why the move isn’t going ahead.
