No further action after Lubenham Hill crash investigation

Police have taken no further action against a man arrested following a dramatic crash near Market Harborough.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a Ford Transit van left the A4304 at Lubenham Hill late on July 11th.

The van crashed through around 30 metres of fencing before overturning

The van crashed through around 30 metres of fencing before overturning near homes behind Archway Health & Wellbeing Centre.

Emergency services attended the scene and the driver was able to get out of the vehicle and reach the roadside.

The force of the impact destroyed around 30 metres of fencing, with debris scattered across the property.

Leicestershire Police has confirmed the man has been released with no further action, but has not released any further details about the conclusion of the drink-driving investigation.
