‘No Current Plans’ For Hosepipe Ban in Leics & Northants

Both Leicestershire & Northamptonshire’s water suppliers say they have ‘no current plans’ for hosepipe bans, as one is to come into force in North West England, because the continuing hot weather has depleted reserves.

Severn Trent Water and Anglian Water are encouraging people to continue to be ‘water-wise’ though, in a bid to conserve supplies, by avoiding using sprinklers on lawns and having showers instead of baths.
