NHS bosses say the former Cottage Hospital in Market Harborough has been sold for £1.35m
The sale has been completed in the past week to Sterling Rose Care, who plan to demolish the historic building to make way for a 70-bedroom luxury care home.
Cash from the sale will be reinvested into the NHS.
