New Warning Over Fake Charity Collectors

A new warning has been issued about fake charity collectors in Market Harborough.

Two women approached shoppers in the town centre on Friday, claiming they were deaf and collecting for a disabled children’s charity.

Earlier this month an elderly woman lost £2,000 from her bank account when she agreed to donate just £5 by card to a similar bogus collection near the Sainsbury’s supermarket.
