New Support Group Planned

The British Heart Foundation is hoping to set-up a new fundraising and support group in Market Harborough.
The charity says over 9,000 people are living with cardiovascular disease across the district.

The charity, which raises money for lifesaving research, already runs similar successful groups in other parts of Leicestershire.
Bill Kerr from Market Harborough suffered five cardiac arrests within 24 hours six years ago, only surviving after people gave him CPR. Since then he has been a big supporter of the British Heart Foundation, running marathons to raise money and volunteering to support the charity.
